He estimated humanoid robots could begin impacting national GDPs within 4 to 5 years, and robotaxis could make a difference in just 1 to 2 years. Musk showcased Tesla’s Optimus robot to Saudi and U.S. leaders earlier this month and claimed the tech could expand the global economy tenfold. Musk envisions ubiquitous humanoid robots, predicting they could expand the global economy tenfold and create universal high income.
